On the border of the United States and Mexico in the California desert is the second largest national park in the U.S. – Anza Borrego (Anza-Borrego Desert State Park). Its territory covers 2,400 square kilometers. Most of the time it is a lifeless desert, but after the winter rainy season, from March, the entire desert is covered with many flowers.
